What is your BLOOD Type?

I am not talking about donating blood. Instead of "what's your sign? you'll say "what your blood type?
like astrology, there is a scientific element to the blood type personality. Because it is based on our own body make-up, those who espouse the blood type personality theory believe that how we behave is determined, in essence, by what we're made of.
As a nurse we already knew that there are a lot of factor to consider which can affects one's behavior. But try consider these thing and see if its matches you.

Type A
A person with type A blood is very studious, on the whole, not too flashy. They make good listeners, and will try not to hurt anyone with their words or speak unnecessarily. they are decisive, but not thoughtless with their decisions. they like to follow the latest trend and dress up, but not in a flashy or gaudy way. They are very sensitive to colors, in that they will coordinate with their clothing by color first, not by style. Likewise, they are very sensitive to the atmosphere and their surroundings.

Type B
A person with type B blood is outgoing and charming. They won't be picky or dwell over little things. Usually, they act first before going over the details. They also good at reading other people and provide whatever support they need. They are very critical of appearances, but not of their own appearance. they will pick clothing by syle and pattern first.

Type AB
A person with type AB blood stands out from other people. They are very sensitive to their sorroundings. They are very determines to do things correctly and will speak in a serious manner. Their actions are logical, but sometimes they take action without regard for the big picture. theirr dress will be extremes sometimes very proper, sometimes very sloppy. Did it matches to yours?

WE'VE GOT INCOMING!!!

When a stone is thrown at you, what do you do?
Can you catch it? Nice reflexes. A sore hand to nurse after though.
Do you throw back at the culprit then? Too violent.
Do you stay put and keep silent? Then, I hope your embraced pacifism save you from getting a sore in the head when the stone hits.

Or would you defy your vengeful nature, cut lose from your vehemence and follow what God has written for you. To throw a piece of bread back without withheld grudge. Really now? Will you be able to live with yourself knowing the fact you just have been cursed. Your reputation befouled and response is a pious blessing. Easier said and done, that is.

Oscar Wilde, a 19th Century Irish writer, wrote one of the wittiest remarks on how to deal with one's enemies. Weird it may sound, he says, "Always forgive your enemies, nothing annoys them much more." You think li'l about and whoa... that made a lot of sense with a smile on your face. Ironic to do yet the result is spitefully gratifying. But be wary as well. Enraging an already enraged enemy may be hazardous to your well being. Let's only hope the Laws of Physics was defied the moment your enemy pitches a few more fist-sized boulders on you. Blunt trauma is particularly tricky to manage. How much more with Multiple blunt traumas. Hell, you could end up passing out. A case of brain herniation in progress because your ICP went up 2° to the hematoma you just received. IMAGINE??? (Eugene Domingo-like)

But I'll be careful with that gold. Valuable it may prove to be, scientifically, gold weighs more than ordinary stone. And if it hits, it causes at least twice the damage. ouch!

And if I was going to ask myself, what I'd do when someone threw me a stone or gold for that matter? Well, that's easy. First things first for me... I'LL HEAD FOR COVER.

This is just a random post designed to make those brain clockworks tick a little. Ciao!!! 8-P

If Success Can Be Cooked, What are Its Recipes?

Last night I received a roll of text messages from Rand inviting me to be one of the contributor for the bsn4d blog. I'm so happy at least i can share openly my thoughts and ideas here . Running down through the works and articles posted by Rand and Jerhart, i came to a point of thinking what to write about as my welcome and introductory article. I cant deny that writing is hard especially when you are running out of topics or ideas to put into writings.

Just this morning i was riding in a MRT, staring at the Timex digital clock hanged on the Taft Avenue Station telling me that I'm almost getting late because it's already around 7:45. Almost everybody is rushing as if they will lose something if they will not arrived to their respective destination on time as expected of them. Most of the communters like me rely on the train as their mode of transportation, not because it cost lesser than riding on a bus but because saving time is much more important. In my case it would only take me 15 mins from the house to the Red Cross, however if i take the other way by riding on a bus it would take me 45 mins or more and that's a big difference (Statistically, four to five hundred thousands of passenger rides on the train daily).

The bell rung it signals that the train was already leaving, this means that if i did not catch up the train i will wait for another 5 minutes for the next trip. Too bad, i will be late again so i run exasperatedly and good thing I entered into the train, while on my entrance into train i was pushed by a...shall i say not really good looking girl but in fairness she's sexy, (wetwew) fitting herself with the rest of the passenger congested inside the train. If you will look closely to their faces you can see different kind of people, amongst them were professional looking, some were wearing school uniform and most are in casual outfit. Other as if do not know what is happening in the real world. This is the routine picture of MRT everyday.

Last month i was invited by the Rotary Club at West End Cafe in Mandaluyong City to join them for a dinner and give talk regarding Blood Program of the PNRC. At first I was so hesitant to attend because i was thinking i will be outweight of their personalities and status in life. But i dont have any choice. On my expectation the club was composed of businessman, executives, and very successful profesionals i even got 3 foreigner on the group, I got a chance to know them one was Italian, the other was Britist and an American. We were 32 all in all. Before i started my talk, i ask them "who among of you here, whom do you think are already sucessful in life? almost everyone raised their hands. These are the people of big success to their own endaevours in life. I ask them a follow up question, "what motivates you to become successful". stunningly i was really impressed to their answers, simple yet meaningful. I ponder upon it and arrived collaborately with these following points of view.

Successful people are highly motivated. They set up high demanding goal for themselves. whether at work or play, or simply taking care of their personal and family affairs, successful are winners who love to create and achieve. Most importantly, the one who succeed are the one who persist and holds on to their vion even when the going gets rough.

They have infectious, positive attitude. Successful people always look at the bright side of life and count their blessing often. they spread hapiness and sunshine wherever they go, and maintain a healthy optimistic mindset, feeling assured and confident. they have a driven, "i can do it; it can be done" attitude.

They are concerned about their health and take care of their bodies. They keep physically strong to meet the demands of fast life. They know how to pace they schedule and effectively manage stress.

They believe the pursuit of excellence. Sucessful person have high self-wort, and wont settle for anything but the best. They strive for spectacullar result and aims for extraordinary. they put in a hundred percent effort in everthing they do.
they turn every disappointments and failures into something good. Successful person look at failures as a temporary setback in their journey to success. They have great focus and try, over and over again, until they succeed and never give up.
Successful people are people oriented, success comes to those who sincerely love being of service to other people-educating minds, uplifting lives and inspiring others. Ever wonder why Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are mega successful? they are the people-oriented and share their talents, ideas, and achievements in the world.

which Character u like best???

Jack Sparrow. James Bond. General Maximus. Harry Potter. Lara Croft or the bad ass Shu Qi in My wife is a Gangster (character name escapes me). T-100 (in case y'all don't know, he's the time-travelling futuristic humanoid robot in the Terminator franchise played by Arnold Schwarzenegger). These are some movie characters that has been imprinted in our minds due to their vigorous impact on our person.

In such short time fused into 1 to 2 hours of screenplay, they have captivated our imagination striking us with deep awe. But what do the have to make us aspire, dream and desire to be like them???
Maybe it is still the snivelling kid in us when we had our first view of a motion picture that brought about our liking of such fictitious personas. Who had dreamt as a kid of being an adventurous pirate scouring the seas looking for treasures, or being the sleek, smooth and cunning spy tracking down notoriety and unearthing conspiracies concerning matters of national security :- while sidetracking to pursue elite goddesses 8-/ or just being plain invincible and immortal.
Or maybe it's the sense of maturity we've grown into that seeks subconsciously the old & the experienced for tips on how to become the wiser in picking rightful choices we have in real life.

Who hadn't found wisdom in the amusing weird dialogues of Yoda like the line "In grave danger, you are..." or the subtle complexities of the soft-speaking mages like Gandalf from LOTR and Dumbledore in the HP series.
And maybe it is the real persons we saw being portrayed, whether existing or fictitious, that we desire of becoming. Who didn't want for even for one moment in their lives to be the rich and famous!?!

Everyone aspired to be them. Even the sadistic and powerful characters we find in antagonists like Mafia members and criminals, we secretly wanted to when we have grudges against our enemies. Or just the "common man" character going through tough times and dilemmas we can relate to.

Whatever reasons we may have in admiring these portrayals we see in the big screen, it reflects who we are. Our personality, our known and hidden desires, our uniqueness. And the ones that intrigue us most stays with us, becomes a part of us... Because in one way or another, we try to follow their paths. One way or another, we try to learn from them. As for me, i got plenty. But I'll leave a quote for y'all to ponder on from one character that really intrigued me. His character portrayal changed the traditional view to pirates being dangerous into something amusing yet still incredibly cunning. He's the Pirate Lord of the Caribbean...
" Me? I'm dishonest. And a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest, honestly. It's really the honest ones you should be worried about. Because you can never know when they will do something incredibly stupid" - Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest)

Masskara Street Party: An early Reunion.

Its been the 2nd year of Masskara to turn the whole of Lacson Street
as a party haven for Bacolodnons nonetheless an early reunion for
some BSN4D's who were actually lounging in the upbeat delighted kiosk
just nestling around the corner.

I am privileged after my duty at Red-Cross to accompany my colleagues
and significant others in the streets of Bacolod, City of the World as
what the theme for this year denotes. Present were Dexie, Jecca, Riza,
Cris, Nyce, and other batchmates including Guia, Leen, and Isabel and
some friends which I dont bothered to write..Who cares?

The experience was pretty engaging since my aunt who happens to have
a store in the corner seventeen turned her place into a whisky
repugnant block making the store a disgust of smoky air.

As we meandered along the sidetrip of sixth lacson, we ran over Jerhart
who I thought at presently was in Iloilo but he never went back till
the Masskara is over, and then we also come upon Madonna, a good friend
that the last I see him was last May.

Many of us still is a part of a small Bacolod. But as we strangled on a
different beat, the encounter is very unlikely as someday we turn ourselves-in
in the changing society. Still I will write and that'll never change.

Never Forgotten Now...

I finished reading the 38th chapter of the novel "Taken" by Chris Jordan
10 minutes after twelve midnight. I elected to open my safety box
of archives during those years that I started to sense the texture
of bliss I had in filmmaking.

In my purple sealed flip-sided envelope was interviews with celebrites,
newspaper clippings, movie posters, Oscar lists, movie records, directors
and writer's addresses, agents, profile, etc. that I assume smiling as I recall
exactly how this inhibitions had grown into a finicky dream that I
believe very soon is coming.

I can never forget how I started my 1st screenplay "The Trail" when
I was fifteen. I was in fourth year high school and during those times
I came late very often with my 1st period classes, maybe because I
activated my hormonal passion for sleeping but hey' I never ran out
of premises and stroll downtown'. No Way. Instead, I would just sit
inaudibly in a maroon double sided bench just meters away from my
home-room and create the story of Daryll and the killing of three boys.

Racously, I remember how I develop my sensible writing and directing
drive when my sister treat us in a Harry Potter movie. That was a
very thought-through day of November 6, 2001 and a very small 14-year
old is entirely clueless of this Potter-phenomenon. This is the start
of my love for writing and imagination. In fact, It motivates me and so
my friends are to write a novel just like that..haha" I recall it was
"The Enchantrelles of Alquerade" but just ending the Chapter 1, I got silent
and run out of words.

As I unravel the aptitude of this never-forgotten ordeals. It may affect
or make effect on my filmmaking reverie' that for the coming years to
face me, I will stand in the Kodak Theatre holding my gold-dented Oscar.

Nothing Gold Can Stay'...

I caught myself laidbacking in the nethermost part of my closet.
I was welcomed by a box of tuition receipts and pieces of white, yellow,
and green rectangular sheets of what seemed to be my college examination permits.
I was flabbergasted to see my all-clean 48 Agustinian receipts and I arrived at
the figure of 141,698 pesos upon calculations though I deemed that
throughout the four-year degree 142,000 can never be half nor nearly half.

I was moved by this disclosure upon knowing how my financial destitution
was painstakingly addressed by my family. There was invariably transparent memories
of my bankruptcy days where I sit starvingly in my chair seeing the copiousness of
some friends devouring on hotdog-sandwiches and luxurious snacks wherein during my days of wealthiness I seldom dared to buy.

I am so thankful of this college exteriorities; By things like this, I have
measured my complacency, I have known my influence and marvel my strive to
perfection.

True. Nothing Gold Can Stay. My years in college was full of skepticism.
I was humiliated, I was in descent, I was in hopelessness and I was despised' yet
a True Gold can Always be Polished.

We are now busy flourishing' our careers, sexualism, self-discovery,
love and affection, marriage and parenthood' but a College Life IS NOT ONLY REMEMBERED..
It is Learned...Loved...and Lived.

As I unravel my future; I may stumble in the dirt but always remember that
a "dirt in a gold is only skin deep".

GODBLESS--BSN4D BATCH 2007.
